Ai Miyazato Now Number One in Japan

There is a new number 1 player in Japan – Ai Miyazato.
As of now, she is leading the Rolex Rankings that were released on Monday after she won the ShopRite LPGA Classic in Galloway Township, N.J.
Ai Miyazato shot a 7 under par, scoring a 64 on Sunday.
Miyazato has won four LPGA events this year, and this is the first time she has ranked number 1.
She is replacing Jiyai Shin of South Korea who, after the retirement of top ranked played Lorena Ochoa, became No. 1 on May 3.
Miyazato’s first LPGA win was only one year ago at the Evian Masters in France.
